Dear Family, Friends, and Friends of Friends,
 
Recently, due to an increasing concern and interest in the development of alternative fuels and energies, I have formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The name of the organization is Supporting Advancements in Alternative Fuel & Energy Research (S.A.A.F.E.R.).  Simply stated, SAAFER will provide an annual grant to an individual or institution developing a solution or product in the renewable fuels and energies sciences. An amazing number of progressive researchers currently receive little to no funding due to special interest lobbying. By donating and purchasing SAAFER decals at www.saafer.org , we, a group of family, friends, and friends of friends, can change this.
 
Over the years, we have all made acquaintances, built relationships and connections. Although we utilize these relationships for business and personal reasons, how often do we use our networking capabilities for the greater good? I am confident in saying the vast majority of people in my life are good hearted, well intentioned and giving individuals. I presume each of you also has a wide array of decent individuals in your lives. SAAFER provides a platform to contribute into what could be one of the greatest and most necessary technological advancements in modern history; merely by “tapping” into our existing social networks. We have all heard of the Six Degrees of Separation theory. Let’s see how well and accurately this theory pertains to our seemingly ordinary lives.  (If anyone knows Kevin Bacon, please forward to him immediately!) With over 300,000,000 citizens in the U.S., a very small percentage of people donating small amounts can quickly make a very big difference. 
 
Shockingly, many Americans have become complacent with ever increasing and fluctuating prices of oil/gasoline, sending billions of dollars overseas, environmental damage, loss of domestic jobs, and for some, the endangerment of our country’s citizens.  With the purchase of a SAAFER decal at www.saafer.org , you can become part of the answer to a growing and increasing danger to our security and future. 100% of all profits from donations and the sale of decals/magnets will go towards funding the annual research grant.
 
Please, send an email to your address book, speak to your neighbors, and inform your peers that SAAFER exists. Ask them to make a donation and then do the same. Together, we can reach an unbelievable amount of people and begin to make a difference. Together, we can make SAAFER one of the largest publicly funded contributors to alternative fuels and energy research in the United States. As SAAFER grows, we can all share in the pride and feeling of knowing we were each integral components of the success and changes brought about by a group of family and friends.
