SAAFER’s grant is available to research projects conducted by individuals and/or 501(c)(3) institutions. The scope of the project must be focused on providing new technologies and products in the field of Alternative Energy. The recipient is not limited to any particular alternative energy. However, the proposed project must be feasible in the near future and offer practical solutions or innovations to current issues related to this field. All applications will be reviewed by SAAFER officers and board members.

SAAFER grant recipients retain all rights to their research.  All research details made public by SAAFER will be reviewed with the Principal Investigator to ensure project confidentiality.

All applications must be submitted by September 30th to be considered for the following year's annual grant. Once an application is complete, please submit it to the following address.
