The majority of this site pertains to oil and gas production, pricing, and consumption. However, there are some very interesting links and information within those topics. In addition, they’ve recently added an “Alternative Energy News” page that contains current information.

This organization works with individuals, corporate, and government communities to optimize human and natural capital for a profit. They recently worked with Texas Instruments by designing a new energy efficient manufacturing plant that would save millions of dollars in energy costs over the years.
National Renewable Energy Laboratory

This is an affiliate laboratory of The Department of Energy. They conduct extensive research in this field through government funding. This site is good for educational purposes.
